I am honoured to be invited to write a few lines to commemorate the inaugural launch of the Malaysia Leader.

Mission 2057 paved a vision towards the “road to excellence” and what it takes "to distinguish ourselves" in all fields after we have become a developed nation by 2020. Adhering this mission, the government is constantly focusing on human capital development to ensure that our younger generation are able to play prominent role in spurring national development to greater heights.

In line with Mission 2057, a vision formulated by our honourable Prime Minister, YAB. Dato’ Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi, the publication acknowledges the important to disseminate, consolidate and elevate recognition for leaders from government, political and corporate sector who contribute towards the nation-building. The book of Malaysia Leader will instil positive inspiration, meaningful motivation and an inspiring guidance for our younger generation.

I believe this valuable and comprehensive compilation of biography and success story our leaders, will inspire bold dreams and aspirations, as well as further propel us forward, create added value, foster innovation and generate knowledge among all Malaysian.
